About Shortlisted

Built by seekers tired of dishonest AI

We've sat on the candidate side of the table. We've watched AI tools confidently invent metrics we never hit, fabricate responsibilities we never owned, and stuff our resumes with keywords that fell apart the moment a real recruiter asked a follow-up question. The team behind Shortlisted got tired of cleaning up after tools that were supposed to help.

We believe honest tailoring beats keyword stuffing — every time. A great application doesn't pretend you're someone you're not. It surfaces the real, transferable experience you already have and frames it in the language of the role you're going after. That's the only kind of resume that survives the interview, and it's the only kind we'll help you write.

We also think your job search is your business. Shortlisted never trains models on your resumes, your job descriptions, or the applications you generate. Your data is yours — used to tailor your application, and nothing else. That's a commitment, not a setting we might change later.

Why we built this

Three principles we won't compromise on

Honest output

No invented metrics. No fabricated experience. We emphasize what you've actually done — and frame it for the role you want.

Privacy by default

Your resumes and job descriptions are never used to train models. Your data exists to tailor your application. That's it.

Built for real candidates

We're not here to game ATS or chase keyword bingo. We build tools that help thoughtful people put their real story forward.

Questions, feedback, or just want to say hi?

We read every message. If something feels off, or you've got an idea that would make Shortlisted better for your job search, we want to hear it.
